Workshop – Restorative & Nidra Yoga with Journaling

45 minutes of Restorative Yoga helps to open facia, prevent injury, and increase mobility. It passively stretches the body without tension or strain on the muscles, ligaments, and tendons to promote flexibility, improve range of movement, and create space in the joints. Restorative Yoga promotes well-being, helps with insomnia, blood pressure regulation, circulation, stress management, weight loss, and letting go of doing and just being.

30 minutes of Nidra works well with Restorative as it works on the Central Nervous System to help relax the body from the inside out. Relaxation is the goal here. It is suggested that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of 3-4 hours of sleep.

15 minutes of Journaling- Simple method of journaling our journey through PIES- Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Spiritual. Journaling is a great check-in of Self which prompts gratitude and growth.

Please bring a bolster or towel rolled up, water bottle, journal, yoga mat.
