A lifeguard must be on deck in order for the public to access
Wristbands must be worn at all times
Children 7 years and under must remain within arms-reach by a responsible person 13 years of age or older
Supervisor to child ratio is 1:4
Lockers are available for use in the change rooms
The Town of Blackfalds assumes no responsibility for damaged, lost or stolen belongings
All guests must take a cleansing shower prior to entering the pools
Street footwear is not permitted on the pool deck
Strollers, wagons, walking aids, wheelchairs and other personal assistance devices need to be free of dirt and debris before accessing
All guests must walk on deck
Appropriate swimwear is always required (no denim, cut offs or undergarments allowed)
Young children, 35 months and under, and anyone who is incontinent must wear protective, water-resistant swimwear to minimize the introduction of contamination
Guests must wash hands after changing diapers or washroom use
Please refrain from contaminating the water with body fluids
Any person with a communicable disease or infection is not permitted
No food, gum or beverages allowed; except water in non-breakable bottles only – no glass containers allowed
Any guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be granted access
For hygienic reasons, please do not spit in or pollute the water fountain
Forward diving is only permitted in the deep end of the Jr. Olympic Pool
Rough play, wrestling and/or holding people under the water is not allowed
Play equipment must be used in a safe and controlled manner
Verbal abuse, including swearing, insults, or threats will not be tolerated; you will be asked to leave if in violation
Report any equipment issues to the Aquatic or Guest Services Staff
Stop and listen to the lifeguards when the whistle blows
